My goals for {31.3 Jump}

January 5, 2012

I told you I was part of this with you, so here are my goals for each of the 3 areas. Would you mind sharing yours? You can do it on the message board, below in the comments, or on facebook/twitter!!

REMEMBER: We all have different end goals!! We are all in different starting spots. My goals/allowances will and should be different than yours. Do not compare or make your guidelines in comparison to others!

♥♥♥

Goal for {31.3 Jump}

Tighten up habits (sloppy eating, skipping exercises, not drinking enough water, foregoing quiet times) that have developed over the past month. Not interested in dropping any pounds, but just firming up what’s gotten a little, *ahem* jiggly.

Eat Clean

♦ No cookies, candies, cakes, chips etc 80% of the time. (I don’t believe in total deprivation!)

♦ Drink 8 oz of water as soon as I wake up (before coffee). Water will be first choice of beverage thru the day.

♦ Stop eating after dinner to allow a full 10-12 hour fast before breakfast.

Move More

♦ Exercise Routine:

– Monday: Strength Training/Plyo Bursts (Gym)

– Tuesday: 30-40 minute Cardio/Teach Pilates Class

– Wednesday: Off  -or- DVD to help me learn new choreography

– Thursday: 30-40 minute Cardio/Teach Pilates Class

– Friday: Strength Training/Plyo Bursts

– Saturday: Optional Day/Long Run Outside

– Sunday: Off

♦ Stand at computer when checking social media/surfing the net.

Refresh Daily

♦ Daily (Mon-Fri) quiet time going through the Good Morning Girls study of Ephesians

♦ Verse memorization (and recall!) taken from “Soul Food”

So what are your specific goals? We must detail out specific action for each of these areas in order to get the success we want! Please share!

    I love eat clean, move more, refresh daily!! Hmmm. I set my 3 in 30 goals on my blog (www.mommakristi.com) and my third goal is to honor God with my health and body- but this is a nice breakdown of that goal. Does that make sense? My head is swirling….

      I (personally) meal plan most weeks, but if you’re asking if I’m going to provide a meal plan, the answer is no.:(
      I will give you some resources and recipes through the 31 days (and yes-this is just for January) to point you towards helpful info!!! Good to have you Kristi!

    My goals are SO similar to yours, right down to the Good Morning Girls study of Ephesians! The only difference is my workout goals. I’m working on improving my running so my goal is to run 3x’s a week. Full body weight training (in the form of Jari Loves Ripped DVD 2-3 times per wk), and possibly spin class once a week.

    1. limited sugar to one small square of dark chocolate

    My biggest challenge will be the eating clean – need to research more healthy options for snacks. So am committing to meal planning (have slipped a bit on this lately and just winging it!) and no snacking after dinner. Have been doing a bit of Bible memory verse work with my 3 boys during homeschooling but am going to write them out for the whole family to learn together. Thanks for the challenge Clare.

    Refresh Daily: work on Gentleness, say Yes and Peak 313 challenges, start Ephesians study mid month. Continue listening to audio sermons. Limiting 1 hour max computer time after school a day, unless part of scheduled curriculum for that day and it must be planned with a time limit.

    Eat Clean: get back on organic diet, make my own snacks to eat, get rid of all junk foods, no more store bought snacks purchase. Drink water, tea using stevia, my fresh lemonade flavored with lemon stevia, and Organic Liaisson elixir. Stop eating by 7 p.m. going to bed by 10 p.m. getting up on time at 615 a.m.

    Move more: 3 times a week 20 min excercise with weights or resistance with music or walking video. 2 walks a week with 30 day fit walking group starting mid month til then walk park. Incorporate excercise in school day twice a week. On day 2 and 4 of school week.
    I pray God will build and guide me in these areas.
