I want to let you in on a little secret.
You inspire me.
Over the past 9 months of blogging, I’ve heard from many of you about your weight loss journey. Your stories are amazing and it would be a crime if I was the only one who got to hear about them.
So here’s the deal. If you are interested in sharing your weight loss journey then you’ve got a platform. Contact me at clare@peak313.com or fill out a comment below and we’ll get you featured on Peak313! (If you are concerned about “writing”, don’t be. I’ll lead you through a series of questions to get your story out!)
I know. I know. Some of you are going to be gun shy because you “aren’t there yet.” Don’t let that hold you back. Understand that the journey you are going through is going to lift up and spur others on. Come on. You’ve shed it. Now share it.
I have lost about 20 lbs. I have dropped one pants size already and I am starting to feel better. I still have a lot more to go slowly but surely. I just need to keep up my motivation and not get discouraged when the snow starts to fly!
What a great idea Clare, I would love to share my weight loss journey to date, Sent you an email
100 pounds and counting! Count me in if I can inspire others with my story. 🙂
Clara
Would love to encourage others! I lost 35lbs, from a size 16/14 to an 8.
I started my journey this February. I weighed in then at 217#s. I am currently 166! I am doing the Flat Belly Diet, working out with Leslie Sansone, Zumba, kickboxing, cardio and weight machines at my gym. I’m not an “after” yet, I’m still a during but I have accomplished alot and learned even more. My next goal – become a runner!
I agree with Elise. I am not an “after” yet either, but I am working on it!
Last year my AWANA shirt was an XL. This year it is a medium. My husband took a picture this week of me wearing the medium and holding the XL up next to me. My weight loss has been healthy and gradual since the end of January. It was very encouraging for me to SEE that picture and SEE how far I have come!
Way to go Nikki. I am so proud of you. I stumbled onto this and seen your post. How awesome are you. I cried while reading your post. Cousin, you are amazing and truly motivating me that as a mother and wife to a youth pastor that I can do anything. Continue to pray for me and weight loss. I have lost 5 lbs thus far, I know that’s not huge but to me it is a step in the right direction.
I’ve lost 23 pounds so far with about 50 to go. Blogging at catsbellyfatcure.blogspot.com
Awesome Cat. Any loss is a success. I am trying to get back on track and have been searching out some blogs to follow so I can gain some motivation and inspiration. I have recently lost 5 lbs and look forward to many more pounds leaving.
