I bet that title got your attention because every single one of us probably struggle with this depending on the season of life we’re in! I mention this in the article, but I want to re-iterate that the suggestions I give are a very “shallow” and a mere distraction for when you have the tendency to emotionally eat. I don’t want to make light of this though because I know for some of you, this issue is a lot deeper than just doing some burpees or writing an encouragement note.

If you struggle with the deeper issues, I want to encourage you to reach out to someone who can walk you through it. If you don’t know where to start, I would love to chat with you! You wouldn’t be the first person I ‘ve talked to who needs a little help and encouragement in this way.

But for many of you, these 15 suggestions might be super-helpful! Just pick 1 or 2 to keep in your back pocket that you don’t have to “think” about it! Join me at The Better Mom!

I also want to mention a speaking opportunity that is coming up in November with The Better Mom!

“The Gathering” is a Friday night/Saturday event meant to encourage you, as a mama, to live as the invaluable treasure you are as you reflect the light and love of God! It will be held in Ann Arbor, MI on November 18-19. Find out the other speakers and info here! As always, one of the best things about speaking is the chance I get to meet you face to face!
