Hey all! I thought I would compile a few of MY favorite things that I love to help you with your Christmas list. If you are anything like me, the older you get, the harder it is to tell people what you want, however there are things that would be awesome to receive that you may not even think of! Some of these items I have and use (or have similar things) while others I also have on my list! Let’s get started! (Click the images to find out about them!)
In the Kitchen
A Crockpot
Goodness- I don’t know what I would do without mine! If you have one, why not add another? (Or get an adorable one like these!)
Vegetable Tray
And another tool I use in the kitchen EVERY DAY–a veggie tray! I load this up at the top of every week and usually mid-week! (I use one that I received from Pampered Chef 12 years ago!)
Vacuum Sealer
Do you remember the review I wrote on the vacuum sealer food saving system? Maybe this is the time to ask for it! Perfect for buying in bulk and freezing in-season fruits and vegetables for future use! There are lots of different options so find what works for you!
Cookbooks
I love pinterest but there’s nothing quite like getting a brand new cookbook (or 2!) to hold in your hands! There are lots of “ways” to eat and I don’t think there is one that goes across the board for everyone, so these are just a few cookbooks that I like!
For Your Fitness
Monthly Exercise Subscription
Changing things up with your exercise routine is so important but it’s so hard to do that if you don’t have a lot of knowledge in that area. Monthly exercise subscriptions are a great way to try this out and insert something different! Check out Refit Revolution, Revelation Wellness, or FitnessGlo to name a few!
Activity tracker
I am going to be writing a review on my Garmin tracker next week so stay tuned, but I am telling you–add this to your Christmas list if you don’t have one already! (UPDATE: Review HERE!)
Coaching Calls
Sometimes you just need someone to process your health struggles with and help you get some clarity and a “next step”. Well, I would love to help you out! You can purchase 1 or a package of (3) calls and we can get started on your health journey! (I also talk about a number of other things, so check out this link to find out more about them!)
Handful Bra
My very favorite sports bra! I own about 5 of them and can’t seem to go to any other brand! As the tagline says, they flatter not flatten! 🙂

I read this devotional when I was in high school and again early in my career. I recently pulled it out and it’s just SO GOOD.
Women of the Word
I wrote a review of this book a couple months ago and highly recommend it!
For Fun!
Blanket Scarf
I have one and love it! Maybe I need to add to my collection!
Leg Warmers
The weather is getting chilly here in Ohio so it’s nice to slip on a pair of leg warmers over my workout tights before and after the gym!

Hi Claire.
Thanks so much for your encouragement over the years. Would you consider addressing the battle in our minds and hearts for obedience/surrender in diligently loosing weight? Temptations are great when I really go after a goal especially in this culture; what are your practices that safeguard your heart from making it an idol? (Do you always have a quiet time before you work out?) I find that I struggle with pouring my attention all day long into taking care of my body (when to exercise, what to eat, when to snack, did I sabotage myself when I…) and not giving my heart adequate attention (by allowing exercise to trump quiet times, feeling like I am obsessing with health, etc.). What do you do to “keep your eyes on Jesus” and on your goals without self inflicted guilt? I think the battle in my mind and heart is the biggest deterrent in starting to really go after my goal, and the amount of time to invest in making it happen feels extravagant and is hard to give myself permission to take. Do you see a lie that I am believing that is making this journey to my goal harder than it needs to be?
