Something that kept going through my head all weekend long was this. EACH of our stories mattered-the good, the bad, and the ugly. EACH of our stories encouraged someone in that room. We didn’t (individually) minister to every single person, but we aren’t called to do that. We are called to be obedient and allow God to carry the message to the heart of who needs to hear it.
Even though we are all smiles here and the weekend may look “glamorous”, God brought each of us to this place through hard circumstances. Our stories that we shared and the ministries that He’s given us have all been birthed from a place of unrest and experience, but all guided by God. We don’t have it all together. We serve a God who does, though, and we each try our best to walk in obedience to Him! I can tell you with total confidence that none of us think we are worthy to carry any message without the grace and power of our Lord. We are truly humbled by all of your support and encouragement!
Don’t be quiet about your story. Live your life even through all your mistakes and imperfections. He is refining you to speak through the body in a way that He wants to. It may be through a blog and it may not. It may be next year or it might not be for 20. God is so good and is faithful. What a worthy message to share!
P.S. The conference will webcast Thursdays starting September 26th at 10pm EST so if you weren’t able to make it, then you can catch it then in the privacy of your home…for free! I walked away challenged from each of our speakers. I am blessed to minister alongside each of these talented and anointed women!
Hello Clare!
Glad you had a great time! I am in OH and was hoping I could make it to the conference, but it was our middle daughter’s birthday that weekend. I am praying there will be a more diverse group of women represented in the future. I would love to attend if there is another conference. Did you have a chance to get a Swenson’s burger while in Akron? LOL.
Blessing,
Syl
Yes, Syl, that is a great point! We will pray that God will continue to guide the right people to the next event! (If there is one!)
And I live in Akron (canton)–actually 10 min from a Swenson’s so I have easy access to them!
Clare
Thank you for making OUR stories feel important! <3 <3 <3
