Hey! It’s your blogger-who-doesn’t-blog, friend! I’m hoping to remedy that in the near future but for now, if you want to keep in touch with me, be sure to follow me on Facebook or instagram! (both at “claresmithofficial”) I’ve been using instagram stories a lot more which gives you a little more insight into my personal life and so I’d love to see you there!

So there’s a few things I want to update you on.

A podcast interview!

I was on a podcast this week with my online friend, Chrystal Hurst. She is in the middle of her #fatdemon challenge and asked to come on to talk all things health! We were supposed to talk 20-30 minutes and almost 60 minutes into it, we decided we should cut it off! We talk about a lot of things like:

– my background

– advice I’d give to a beginner

– should you food journal

– is walking worth it

– which plan is best, and

– how management of health aids in sanctification.

My prayer is that those who listen are encouraged to seek more of God and the Holy Spirit through their health journey more than any talking head, fitness instructor, or recipe book. You can listen to it on the podcast or stitcher app, or follow the link here!

Upcoming Conference

I’ll be speaking at the 2017 Hearts at Home Conference on April 21-22 at The Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Illinois

One Day Conference $105 (either Friday or Saturday)
Two Day Conference $160 (Friday and Saturday)
Moms Night Out $15 with a conference admission or $20 as a stand alone event (Friday night only)

I’ll be giving 2 different workshops. There are a number of other great topics and of course you can’t miss the keynote speakers! I think you deserve a “spring break” so grab a girlfriend or two and come see me! Find out more here!

Workout Tank Giveaway

I love the message of this tank! I’ve really been leaning into my weaknesses lately, naming them outright in my prayers, and then asking God to be my strength as I walk throughout the day being on the lookout for how He will come through and to no surprise, He has been. Thankful for a great truth from Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:10, “For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
