Ladies!! I’m soooo excited for this new “series” starting today!! I have had many of you write in for healthy recipes but not just for you and hubby, but for your kids also! I’ve had a cookbook sitting on my shelf for almost a year and have been dying to dig into it. The thought hit me one day to kill 2 birds with 1 stone and voila–we have our new Friday series thru the fall!
Get ready for Double Delicious Fridays! Jessica Seinfeld has written 2 cookbooks that have sold over 1 million copies. Her first one was Deceptively Delicious. She followed it up with Double Delicious and that’s the cookbook I’m going to use for this new series! I have gone through and hand picked a few months worth of recipes that are interesting to me and I hope are interesting to you!!
If you aren’t 100% sure of Jessica’s thought with these 2 cookbooks, she is looking to increase your nutrient base! She uses vegetable purees hidden inside each recipe to amp up the “health” of your food. I love this idea, even though it may mean one extra step for you in the kitchen.
I’ll do a rating system of sorts for each recipe.
